Learning which equipment, clothing and food to take on trips is the beginnings of your bush knowledge. Also learn about the environmental factors that the bush can throw at you like a lost route, flooded river or snow storm!
We aim for you to become self reliant by learning to look after your self (and others if necessary!) and our precious environment.
The bush and mountains are not hostile but can be very unforgiving to the ill-prepared or unaware so take advantage of our knowledge and passion for the bush and prepare to get out there!
Don’t get lost! Get savvy.
